V - Carbine (version I)

Course Overview and Requirements

The V series are short duration class designed to exposed the student to 5 new exercises/drills for the purpose of advancing personal development.  In each of the 5 exercises will be break the drill down to sections working the shooter up in their ability to complete the exercise efficiently.  Each student will receive drill write up and target samples for future self practice.


Length of course is approximately 4 hours

Items required for completion of V Carbine (V1)

  • Rifle – Semi-automatic carbine rifle (M16/AR15, Ruger Mini 14/30, AK/MAK Variants only) in proper working condition. Semi-automatic’s must have at least three magazines, it would be preferred that you have more, as you will learn and enjoy the course more

  • Handgun - Semi-automatic or revolver of your choice to be used for rifle to pistol transitions.

  • Holster - Kydex is prefered but not requirred.  No serpa and similar holsters due to safety concerns.

  • Sling – Either a single or two point sling is preferred. Three point slings aren’t recommended.

  • Ammunition – 250 rounds of carbine rifle and 50 rounds of pistol ammunition.

  • Hearing protection – Wrap around or foam ear protection is acceptable.

  • Eye protection – Shatter proof lens that cover the entire eye socket area. (This is required)

  • Attire – Appropriate clothing for the environment, brimmed hat, shirt, shorts or pants.  Ladies I wouldn’t wear loose fitting tops as hot brass going down your shirt doesn’t feel good and will burn you. The range is outdoors.

  • Snacks, hydration etc 

  • Sunscreen and lip balm

  • Proper attitude – Willingness to learn, Focused on Safety

  • Cleaning/Maintenance Gear for your weapons system

  • Course fee – $125 Cash, Check or paypal, non refundable $50 deposit is required to secure spot
